Topic: Mapping question

Hey gents, was wondering about mapping keys on my MKII. I'm not a pro user so I may be pissin' in the wind but...

I would like to change the pich bend keys, which I never use, to loop in and loop out on each deck.
If this is possible I would appreciate some direction.

I know my license doesn't allow me to download mappers and all the extra goodies and it's all good cuz I don't really use them.
I was curious if this could be done with the editing of an xml file or something. I don't know if the limitation is within the LE software and the file cannot be modified or if the limitation is that I can't download a groovey cool mapper to make this happen more easily.

I'm hoping maybe one of you can educate me to the limitation I may be facing or what I need to do if this IS possible.

You can't change the mapping without using and remapping the MK2 as a MIDI device. However, since you only use the Limited Edition - this is not possible either because the controller is recognized and mapped at startup. However as you have already recognized that as a Pro user this would be possible.

looks like I may have to go pro
as my skills have improved I've begun to realize the limitations of the Limited Edition. (thus the designation)

One thing you might find as a Pro - is there is a simple mapper tool that will help you in doing what you ask.
