Thank in advance for any suggestions to help resolve my issue with the follow units.
I have just purchased a Focusrite Saffire LE and attached it to a new Toshiba Laptop model number L300 with the following spec’s
Vista 64 ultimate home edition,
Duo Core Intel at 2.27 GHZ
4 GB Memory
1394 FireWire SER A express card to drive the Saffire LE.
And a ground loop Isolator, (which works great)
When running VDJ 5.2 I am experiencing a lot of drop outs and very poor sound quality. Now when I connect all the same parts to my older Dell M65 with the same specs as above but only 2 gb memory. Sound perfect, same goes for a 32 bit win xp desktop with ony 512 MB and old p4 processor.
I am thinking of getting rid of the Saffire Le in favor of the new DJIO 64 bit drivers, but that a little scary since they just came out.
