Topic: Dj Console MK2 loading problems

Hello forum... I am having a loading issue...? I am using a macbook pro with a dj console mk2...Software is virtual dj... I recently switched from mp3(320 kbps CBR) to WAV(1411 kbps) on my beatport account...It only loads about a 2 second section(WAV) of the song i drag in...? And all of my mp3 files load with no problem...? Has anyone else had this same problem? Is there a quick fix? Can anyone
Please help me out... :(

WAV files? Seriously? Wow, you're gonna chew up some serious storage using WAV files, because the files are HUGE, and I'm going to guess that's why VDJ is only loading a little bit of the file. I've even seen this in VDJ with really large MP3 files too, a really long (like 20 minute track) will not completely load, but it will play thorough, I think it just buffers in the file "on the fly".

I'm curious why you want to go from a 320Kbps MP3 format to a WAV format. Sound quality can't be all that different between the two, can it? You may want to consider sticking with using the MP3 format, or perhaps consider FLAC if VDJ will play 'em...I think it will but don't know for sure.
