hey guys im using virtual dj that i purchased online and i ordered the vinyl too but it takes a while to get here in seattle so i got some temporary sorato vinyl when i use them everything works fine exept that my needle collects an abnormal amount of dust. i never had this problem with normal vinyl but the time code seems to be different i want to know if the vdj vinyl is going to be the same way and what is a proper inexpensive solution to this problem also the dust causes skipping and even 0% quality sometimes. oh and i allready made sure that it is not a static problem my mixer, tables , and comp, are all earthed correctly and there is no hum in my speakers so thats not it. any help thanks...

No, my VirtualDJ TCV are fine, you do get a bit of dust of them, but I would say it's about the same as normal vinyl.

Can you please put your serial number in "Modify my profile" then you will have the Pro user icon under your name. Also you will be able to download the Skins and plugin's

I sometimes have the same issue, i think its can be fairly common depending on the environment your in. As a rule of thumb i check my needles from time to time but a good thing to look for is the timecode signal. If you notice itstarts to flicker then deactivate the timecode (if the current song is playing on that deck) and gently pull it off the stylus. I find it happen more with the inner grooves because i hardly play any trackover 8min long. So by the time i get into 10,11,12min those grooves are full of dust from non use.

also, when you not using your timecoded records, do you take them off the deck, and put them back in their sleeves just like a normal record?
