so I think AGAIN! and i decide Comatose (by skillet , not Pearl Jam ) would make a good 1st song for her .......
well , Chlamydia has a huge heh heh ......... virtual folder , so instead of scrolling thru all that , i decide to type in comatose .....and ....here we go again .......

getting back to rock music ....this is a little known , rarely heard genre , that has many sub genres ....... typically long haired white boys try desperately to play things called instruments in order to make angry sounds ....... usually a "singer" "sings" words meant to be an equal component with the "music" ........ sometimes the singing and instruments make sounds considered pleasant ......
one of the differences from other "popular" music such as rap and hippity hop , is that the worship of "bling" , "shawty in de club" and the "drive by shooting" haven't made it into the pantheon of accepted compositional techniques ......

Are you accidently activating a shortcut while typing? I usually have all shortcuts disabled. I guess that doesnt help if you actually use keyboard shortcuts.

i do have keyboard shortcuts but i use them to clear playlist clear sidelist , clear player 1 & 2 , volume up &down .... none of the shortcuts loads a player or crossfades
i mean the ones i have activated ......
again it has something to do with the search as far as i can tell , but what i usually get is a shutdown (instantaneous)
my virtual folders at the top of the large list disappear , but disappear slowly ..... the virtual folders in the middle of the long list don't disappear , and the ones at the bottom of the list disappear sometimes after just one reboot ......
favorite folders disappear also
everyday previously scanned trax show up in my unscanned filter folder .........it's something with the database and it seems new as of 5.2
i am gonna try a work around ..... i'll see if putting bogus(empty) virtual folders at the top and bottom of the pile makes any difference , and if those disappear they are empty so it wouldn't matter
moving any folder to the top of the pile is a tedious pain in the ass cuz i have as many as 100 virtual folders , depending on how many have disappeared since yesterday ........also when i engage "move up" i have to place the point of the arrow of the cursor inside the loop of the e in move or it doesn't move up ......??

the players don't freeze , none of that happens .....in fact when this happened wednesday , this happened at a rare moment when i wasn't running any video , not even visualizations or slideshow or scrolling text so over taxed cpu or ram isn't it or vid card

Do you use the default skin?
I cant use VMIX skin on my system at all it will constantly give tracks not scanned almost daily and randomly from just a few to a few hundred. I was constantly having to scan yet the default video skin would never have that problem. Could never figure it out so sadly I just had to stop using VMIX...sigh...I miss that skin so so much.

i was using default skin full video , but no video of any kind
if i rescan the trax that come up yellow and my filter folder no longer shows any unscanned trax , if i just poke around in the database after awhile i will get new unscanned trax pop up again
