That looks sweet bro'. I could def use something like that. I use slideshow in between vid's but would love something like that as oppose to the cheesy looking built in text feature.

do you have a logo?

basically this was started as a way to cover up credits at the beginning of videos, also we were looking for a plug in that would allow multiple logos to be placed on the screen, what we came up with was a png file that would be the size of the screen with various images that could easily be edited on photoshop.
What he does is has multiple files and swaps them as the night goes along, one has the bar logo, another has upcoming events, another that days specials, etc...
This is great because it will lay over videos, slide shows, and sonique visuals

I just need the bottom part, to go over credits like you say and can put in my logo's. When not mixing vid's I put up these in the slideshow to avoid burn-in;

For valentines;

etc etc

Different colour schemes depending on the decor in the club etc. people dig it though.

Would love to get a hold of the part that covers the bottom of the screen, very cool and classy looking

i must warn you, since not all credits are in the same area (some higher, some lower, different font sizes) some might still show in the are thats not covered.

that is not a problemo

Why would you want to cover a videos title?

the idea to cover them up came because they are very inconsistent, some are higher, some lower, some are white some are black and it looks weird and unprofessional...

I don't know why this would trouble you; I think people can accept that not all of your videos are from the same source.
I understand why you might want to cover titles when there is a chance that two will overlap (which doesn't look good).

The videos I use either have no title or only show once on the first verse so I don’t encounter any title overlap.
Otherwise I’d say that it’s a good idea to promote through graphics over the text plug-in (which really needs updating imo).

i like the text plug ins a lot , i have both and i don't think they're cheesy ......i do wish they had some additional features and appreciate there current level of excellence and the hard work of there creators ....

i know that credits dont bother everybody, however this friend of mine decided to take this route because someone asked him what chanel he recorded the videos from, yet he is strictly legit. if you cover up that text and watermarks it doesnt look like you pvr'd the videos, they look clean and original

ah i see

Not that the credits bother me personally, however I constantly have peeps buggin' me with "can I get those", how and where etc etc.

As for the internal text feature it is great , but compared to what Rasza shows, it does look cheesy by comparison and no one said that they don't put a lot of hard work into Virtual DJ.

Sometimes people on here act as if its their baby or something. I have brought aboard many people since I started using the program, so do I get a commission for every sale I made? When and only if I do, I may think of giving it the reverence that some seem to give it.

Oh and do I get some money back for everytime it has crashed at a gig? No such thing as perfection gang. Not even for Virtual DJ.

Ok now back to reality-lol

I need one like that....I have a logo that is JPEG.....How do I convert it to that format

you can use photoshop to edit the image and then save it as a png file.

I tried to imitate Djraza's image to learn how to do it but I get jagged lines around the artwork. The image size is 800x600 and I used 300 resolution. How can I get sharper image outline? Is it a resolution problem? I'm new at this... I uploaded it as a gif but even png is the same

Its not a resolution problem, seems lie your layers dont have the right blending setting. What software are you using?

Fireworks - I used feathering on the black but it looks like crap. I tried without feathering and it was still jagged...
