Hello everybody. I am working on getting back into DJing after being out of the country for two years... At the moment, I am trying to create a new logo. My old one looked kind of like this:

(I just used mspaint to shrink it, but you get the idea)

I've got a few ideas sketched out in a notebook, some with CDs, headphones, music notes, wave forms, etc, but nothing seems to be coming out right. (I'm not the most amazing artist in the world either...)

I was just wondering if anybody could help me with some ideas or show some examples just to help me get started.

If you want it done good and right, the guys at logodesigncreation.com might be able to help you. They'll make you a logo out of your specifications for like 30 dollars, and if you're not satisfied you don't have to pay. It's probably the easiest way to get a nice logo, unless someone can do you one for free.
 
for a good logo ... modern dj logo you need to concentrate on a good font. Your name and music is more inportant than an icon. make sure you pick a color that represents your style. and choose do you want to be modern or classic
