In your original post you mention the time is out? Is it losing time? Does the clock stop working on the pc and then starts again. If so, this is likely a motherboard issue. Is it possible there is more vibration at that venue? If you had a bad solder joint or a connector not quite in right, maybe a knock or vibration momentarilly just the right way can stop it working.

Try turning it off and pull the ram out and plug it back in again - thats the most common notebook problem for weird lockups.

just stop/froze all together at the time it was at. i didn't change anything this past week and i didn't get the problem. thats why it's so strange now that it hasn't occured a third week in a row. Cue itself would repspond and worked flawlessly the rest of the night. vibration isn't an issue as the equipment its suspended from the ceiling. i checked ram and it was nice and tight.

Sometimes USB issues can cause complete CPU freezes. Either too many USB devices drawing too much power or a driver upset. Maybe if you plugged something into a different port and it reinstalled the driver again, that might have sorted it, or as mentioned previously some kind of power thing. I hope thats all it was anyway mate. Hard to say with something that intermittent eh.
