i am actually a registered software user contrary to what it says, im having probs registering but thats not the issue right now. I am broadcasting on the internet via the shoutcast plugin and my hercules console but im having robs using mike to broadcast live, is it possible?

yes it's normal when i have de basic version of vdj hdjconsole i have the same problem, and i purcvhase the full version , and after this day i don't have problem with my mic because you have a basic versio and this version don't work very good with mic live

thats not true.. even in the registered version the mic signal is not sent through the "recording" section. You need to set your shoutcast input (iput tab) to "Soundcard input" and then set your windows recording device to 'what you hear' or 'stereo mixer'. Each soundcard calls it something different.. but its the main recording channel.. then shoutcast will send whatever comes through your speakers to the server.
