I am using a thinkcentre pc with 1 gig of ram and 3.2 ghz single core p4 and a sata drive 750 gig with two partitions (one is os and the other is the music/video). I am using virtual dj 5.2. The performance on video is horrible on this machine. I added a pci video card with 256 mb (fx5200) and still nothing. Video is choppy and worst if I attempt to load one video on one side while another one is playing. I would hate to think that the hardware is not enough. I used my laptop which does have 2 gig memory and a dual core and it worked fine while running the videos from a usb drive. Anyone got any suggestions? Does the dual core make the difference or is it the added memory?
