Topic: Master ouput in m headphone mix

Hey guys, kind of new to all this,

I just bought a hercules mk2 controller, for some reason i cant listen to my mix in the headphones, when i change to the mix option on the front face it just gives the master output..

Any idea would be great

The headphone selector gives you 4 different options:

- Deck A

- Deck B

- Master: a reproduction of the main output 1/2

- Split: According to the position of the crossfader, Main deck on the right, the other deck on the Left.

So obviously, if you wan to listen to a specific deck , you need to change the switch to that position.

I understand all that part, but the 4 options are

Deck A
Deck B
Mix
Split

On the mix option i should just be able to hear my mix befor it goes out live, no matter where the crossfader is.
When i click on mix it only allows me to hear what is going out live.

Dont know if im making sense.

Let me explain a little bit more: when you select Mix, you hear exactly what is going out on Output 1/2, and since all this is done throught the hardware of the soundcard itself, so their is no delay at all.

If you don't want to hear either deck individually, your only other option is Split.
