Hi all,
I have replaced my notebook by a new one, the configuration is pretty good, Toshiba Qosmio F40-ST4101, Core2Duo 2.4, 3GB RAM, 2 X 160GB HD, NVIDIA 8600GT 256 + 256, HDMI, S-Video, RGB, Windows Vista HomePremium 64-Bit.
I moved my videos to the second HD and started using VDJ connected to a projector via S-VIDEO but it hangs sometimes for a few seconds and many times it completely hangs with the external video continuing to play until it dies. I can switch to the Task Manager while VDJ is hung, but the process does not kill.
I tried to change the performance tab to all the values but it does not solve the problem.
My old notebook with Windows XP, a Toshiba Core2Duo 2.0, 2GB RAM worked fine.
What could be the problem? I tried to install the Vista 32-bit version and the result is even worse!
Does anybody knows what can be causing this?
Thanks.
Jacomelli.
