What software are you using to Dub video to remove sound effects dead air ect

I use two, depending on exactly what i want to do, favourite is TMPGenc 4 Express, the other is Videostudio 11.5 plus between these two i can do all i want to with my vids.

Adobe audition for audio, sony vegas for video
 
I've used Pinncle Studio platinum, Sony Vegas, and Cool editopro (Now called adobe audition)

For quick and easy photographic slideshows I've used Windows Movie Maker and had good results. But that particular software isn't really user friendly and is very limited compared to other video production softwares out there.

thanks for the response, im looking into getting the platinum pro pack, always thought this sort of software was well out of my budget. never realised it was under £100
