Topic: rmx help

so i used my rmx for the first time sunday and loved it only for i had no headphones.also downloaded the rmx config but cannott load my samples into buttons 1-6.should the config be a seperate programme.also mic and sound was crackling bad

the crackling sound is there so that you appreciate the clean sound even more when it isnt crackling.

what skin are you using?

perhaps you can load your samples into the effects category.

you are now ready to navigate the digital labrynth between different brands of software (vdj) and hardware (rmx).

stay hydrated.
 
using the rmx skin.so i move my samples to me effects.does the rmx config stay seperate to vjd or will my rmx automatically source it.also y no headphones and how to get rid of crackles.also mic was crap sound
 
Djstaffy, disable safe mode and put latency to auto. It should stop the crackle hopefully.

And have u upgrade ur rmx driver to its recent version?
 
yes i did spinnal.getting a new hard drive in me laptop at the mo so will have to download all my software again and i will do as u said.as i said before im not a pc expert but want my vdj to work spot on i love it so much.it has made my job with karaoke ect so easy.you guys here are great wuth all the advise and help i grt from you all
 
Did the whole sound cracks or just MIC? Can you tried other sound card to see is it working?
 
my djio soundcard is perfect.and it was both.the mic was terrible.think i just have to mess around with my settings.
 
i had the crackling too and just adjusted the latency and took the safe mode off and it sorted it out, but i had interferance aswell like whiute noise so i got a Ground loop isolator off ebay for a resonable £6 which sorted it out and now i have crystal clear sound :D
 
yes i have an isolator.im just using a single 1/4 inc output to my amp so where do i put it,also y do you have to move gain ect before mixing to get the sound up
 
i dont know bout putting the isolator with the 1/4 jack output, cause i use the phono output and put the isolator from my RMX to my phono lead into my other mixer, bout using the gain for the mix when you use the 1/4 jack output for your speakers the sound will come out pretty loud so will have to keep playing with the gains on either side to get it at the right level ready for the next mix, i noticed that earlier when i put my speakers into the 1/4 jack output was just playin about hookin up my other speakers and nearlly popped my ear drums cause the gain was on half way lol.
