Topic: one of those nights with that something extra...

without a doubt this is the oddest - and possibly most disgusting - thing that has happened to me in this job,

friday night, decent amount of people in the building including some older folks taking their college age kids out now that the thanksgiving break has started. older (late 50's early 60's?) woman comes up to the booth to make a request, and she can't talk very loud so i motion her over and lean my head in closer. still hard to hear her over the music, so i lean in a bit more and turn my ear to her. she starts talking again and -

her dentures fly out and hit me in the ear.

and how was your weekend?...

Your looking at this all wrong...be thankful her dentures flew out, instead of her sticking her tongue in your ear.....
 
I agree with Terry but would add...

Ill. That's gross. At least the dentures hit your ear and not your mouth.
 
Not as bad as your false teeth incident but on the weekend a guy stripped and tried to ride one of my speakers like he was in a rodeo. I rushed over to try and save my speaker from being damaged forgetting I had my headphones still on. The headphone cable then yanked the hercules console but luckily its on a long USB cord which didnt disconnect. I had to tell him to settle down quite a few times or be kicked out.

Sometimes the happy drunks cause more trouble than the angry ones.

Im bracing myself for the xmas gigs tho when all the oldies think they are 21 again...

they've tried that before too. but dentures? creeped me out.
