My name is Jimmy and I've been an active and devoted Dj since 1982, however even before this date (late 70's at the tender age of 13-15) I was trying to 'rock' crowds using cassettes and tape recorders mixing between the two so there wouldn't be any pauses between the songs. Inspired by my father, who always bought records on and off, music was always in the air in the house! My passion is playing music; 'speaking' through my music, using the music as an extension of myself and making the crowd feel the same intensity and excitement I have. I am particularly sympathetic to the 80's era (Old School) as well as the 90's, but have soft spots for the 50's, 60's, and 70's as well! I grew up listening to Rock music (so I am a dedicated Rock fan too as I think Rock music gave me...Hi to all! Led Zeppelin, Doors, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Journey, Def Leppard, ACDC, Dire Straits, QUEEN, Black Sabbath, Uriah Heep, Supertramp, Dokken, Journey, Elvis, Pink Floyd, Whitesnake, Rolling Stones, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, were just a few groups/types/styles of ‘sounds’ that really triggered my interest into music. First vinyl purchased was back in 1973, Elvis' Greatest Hits album. I was born on June 14th, 1966 in Hartford Connecticut and relocated to Greece in 1978. I own approximately 6000 vinyls, worked for Jeronimo Groovy Radio Station for 10 years (90's), have been a resident Dj at more than 25 clubs/bars over the years, and have had the honour to play at numerous weddings and private parties. Started converting to digital djying in 2011, big fan of Virtual DJ and Denon controllers. Holder of a PhD degree. Let the music play!
