Hi...i would like to know what do i need in order to
listen to the track playing and at the same time preview
the "upcoming" track.
What hardware do i need ?? 2 soundcards ???!!?!?!?
Btw, i play on desktop PC and i have 5.1 Creative Speakers

Well I use a sound blaster sound card with four output channels, in which I configure my speakers to channel one, and my headphone are configured to channel two. my channel one is sent to an amplifier and then to my speaker for party sessions, while the headphone is plug in derrectly to channel two and my mic directly to mic input.
once set up correctly preview it should be a breeze. on a one channel or I should say a one output sound card, I don't think it can work. I never got it too, but I might be wrong, seeing am only a beginner.

one output sound card will work but it takes a butt load of splitters! if this is really what you want to do hit me up, and are you using timecodes?

I recently purchased Numark DJ-IO external sound card for $100 bucs. Channel 1 goes into your Ch1 amplifier and Channel 2 in your Ch2 amplifier. You're good to go.
