I just recently purchase several tracks from Beatport. When I wanted to mix them several of the tracks played much louder than the rest resulting in an uneven sounding mix.
I have my settings so that everytime I load a new track a deck, the Gain resets to 0. In the past this has worked fine for me and most of my mixes would output at a similar level. However lately I find that some songs play very loud once they are loaded on a deck. If I double click the Gain knob it will change to a - (negative) number and reduce the volume a bit.
Can you please advise what's the best way to get volume to remain consistent when I load a new track onto the deck, irrespectivbe what volume level the that track was recorded at?
