Just as the title says. Two different rigs and different results. My gig rig was affected when updated. Granted, I did not have that many cue points saved up but was a bit awkward when mixing - loaded up some favorite tracks and CUEs were gone. Also gone was the little indicator showing prev played track. Thank goodness history files still there.
No, I did not recreate the XML file, just a simple in place upgrade.

Yes, it is an anomaly. CUE points should not disappear. Yes, for the other thread talking about Automix points for Cut, Fade, and Tempo; were affected - but standard CUE points are not touched. BPM is recalculated if it was not 'manually' entered in using 5.0.7.
Tag info as well should not be affected. This would only happen if forced to do so using the 'reload tags' option.
So, your situation is unique and should not have been a result of the upgrade. You said 2 rigs and different results. I am assuming your second rig didn't loose any information?
