I have just bought an EKS Xp5 and want to set it up as a remote controller on my VDJ 5.0.
When I go into Config under Remote Control, I see the device is recognised as an Xp10 since the green light icon is on if i tick Enable. If I tick the MIDI box Enable the light is red, and I can't find how to map the device controls.
I found some XML map downloads through these topics:

But, due to my problem I can't even load these pre-mapped options (or I don't know how to).
I intend on using my single Xp5 with my ESI u46 MKII external soundcard and assigning one of the buttons on the Xp5 to tab from deck to deck after each mix, but this first I need to get the controller working!

This issue above may be due to the fact that the Xp5 booklet instructs you to download some files first from their site which I haven't done yet - so let me try this first.
I have also received an XML 5 for VDJ from EKS themselves which is the partial map for this controller - I will post this on the weekend. They say that their website and fully functional files will be available from 29 April - holding thumbs!
