If I want to come out of my Macbook Pro with 2 channels, how is this accomplished. I'm thinking about going with the new Denon Controller would this be the solution or some sort of
breakout box.
I'm looking to do this right, money is no object. I'm also looking to do video mixing would this be something different altogether.

Do you intend to use an external mixer ? headphones? if so then a sound-card like the one included in that controller would be needed for this.
If you want a Controler , and sound-card the denon will be fine for this.
if you are looking for just headphones or external mixer support check out the DJ/io from Numark.
if you want to use time-codes you should consider Virtual Vinyl also from Numark and a Nuo4 mixer.
