I'm guessing your caps lock key is broke also :P (People don't like all caps questions, they consider it to be shouting.)

Anyway, chances are that you have enabled the ability to show file extensions in Windows.

When you rename your files in VDJ, ensure that you add ".mp3" (without the quotes) to the end, which will create a file that you can use with VDJ.

To fix your broken files, browse to them in Windows Explorer, rename the file, but add the same ".mp3" (without the quotes) to the end of the file.

Windows will say something along the lines of "Do you wish to change a file extension, doing so may render a file unusable?" Hit yes, and voila, the unusable file will become usable again.

Steve.
