I got my timecodes in the mail today--and I tried them--they seem to work just fine, meaning they don't seem be losing signal like
it was happening with the Serato Records. Scratching also sounds good even when set to simple algorithm.
I want to know how to make it as good as it can be for my system, also what is the ideal system on which to use VDJ? Does it take advantage of dual processors? Is there an Ideal soundcard for it? Right now I'm using the Rane SL-1, and it seems fine. If I try and turns sound settings towards more quailty, my machine lags. What do you veteran users advise for a system with the following specs:
PC running windows XP PRO:
AMD athlon 64 4000 (2.4 GHZ)
2 Gigs of Low Latency DDR RAM
10,000 RPM Western Digital Raptor Hard Drive -250 MB
Rane SL-1 sound card
Nvidia Quadro 5400 128 mb video
