Hi. What mixer would you reccomend for a setup comprising of a DMC-2 controller with a Maya44 soundcard? Im not sure whether to search for a MIDI mixer to control VDJ's internal mixer and effects, or an external mixer with built in efffects etc? any recomendations gratefully recieved!! Thanks in advance guys!!

Hi. I've got the dmc2 and maya aswell, they make a good combination.
What kindof budgegt have you got for the mixer? If you're not short of money, either the pioneer djm 800 has both midi and built in effects. Also, take a look at the korg zero 4.
If you're after a 19inch rack mountable mixer so you can put it in a rack with the dmc2, there's not any midi compatable ones of those as far as i know. Lot's of good 19inch mixers though. There's a pioneer one which has lots of good effects. All the denon ones are pretty nice as well if you want something straight forward.
Personally, I've got a Vestax PMC-250, nice and small. I've got the dmc2, mixer, laptop, hard drives, etc. all in a 12u mixer case so it's easy to transport.
