ok for Christmas I got pioneer cdjs-200 and Gemini mixer, What do I need to make it work with my dj console mk2 and virtual dj.


Oh yeh and will the buttons on my cdj worj with virtual dj. cause realy I just want to use virtual dj for loading tunes onto.

all you need is this FREE timecode CD :

Download the "consumer level" for CDJ200s

Burn it as audio cd, and connect the outputs from the cdjs, into the inputs at the back of your Hercules.
Set timecode as inputs in VDJ soundcard settings, and choose external mixer as output.

Then connect the output channels from Hercules to two separate channels at your Geminin mixer.

You need 4 sets of RCA stereo cables

And you also need VDJ PRO for it to work, more than 5 minutes (limitation in your version of VDJ)

Ok I tried that see the bit where u said Then connect the output channels from Hercules to two separate channels at your Geminin mixer. Should I connect it to channel 3 on the mixer or connect it to master and record on the mixer??? .

Cause when I connect it to channel 3 on my mixer and then open vdj to change the settings I get "Error in the ASIO driver not enough channels " ???

U need to go to herc control panel n select asio, then open vdj.

Morever if u do own VDJ pro, pls register ur serial..

As ur version can't support this n it is limited time when using timecodes.

U could get a discount to upgrade if u haven't have pro n if u wanna try first, pls use the demo version that will werk for 20 days, after which u may decide if it werk for u.

yes thanks it did now I only have one problem left my timecode cds stay at 0 when should be at 100 hmmm

how big is the wave? is it square?? Have u pressed auto config few times??

After pressing auto config, it still like that?

Try download the pro tccd n use it.. make sure u switch to line at the back of the herc mk2 on both deck.

see if that help.

Abt the settings in timecode, try not to inverse phase n untick clear sound. Ur settings in sound config is right.
