Hi Guys,
Had VDJ up and running and all is fine.
The next day, turned it on, all is fine, and then went to X out of the program. It hesitated, hit X again and gave me a little error message.
Since then when i load the program, VDJ does not read ANY music file in ANY folder.
After looking thru the config tabs seing if I accidently hit the wrong button, I noticed in my codec tab that NOTHING is in there.
I know there was something in there before and NOW NADA!!!
So what do I have to do to fix this?
Re-install or something else?
Thanks
Jamie

I'm going to guess that you use a DAC3 controller? Am I right?
This issue has been discussed in depth when the release came out (weeks ago).
There is a fix you can do in the registry to put back your codec, or you can simply reassign them by using the add feature and adding the ones you need. you will need to define the decoder for each. The fix is in the archives (previous posts you can "search" for) and is a bit detailed.
The FIX is to unplug the controller prior to shutting down VDJ.
It has to do with the driver mapper for the DAC3 not disconnecting appropriately during shut down and the odd results is loss of codec.
This problem has been fixed in the latest 5.6 and I recommend updating to the newer features it offers too.
