ok im not the only one who realized the 5.0 has a really slow reaction time ..compared to 3.4 it has a slight delay is there any way to fix this or is it simply a Pc problem

If you're talking about the time delay between user's command and the
response in audio signal, than the correct term is latency.
Unless you have changed your settings, the 'reaction time' did not change
on the new version. Go to the settings and misspelled 'perfomances' and
adjust your sound card's latency.

not the sound card .. the program it self has a slight delay between the time the keyboard key is pushed and the time for the program to react

as the previous person mentioned this is called latency. It comes from your soundcard man. If you want go back to the old version for your "latency free" software.

go to options > performances
set autolatency , untick safe and overclock and slide the slider to fastest

home edition does not have this option what is your system specification?

Well, i'm using ver. 3.4.1, Hercules MK2. Dell latitude D610, 2ghz processor with 1gig of RAM.

by defraging it , checking for any conflicts

do you use xp? btw
if you do you may find it advantagous to create two user acounts and mofify the registry for one of them so it only runs virtual dj

Ok, the trial worked just fine, almost no latency. So, WTF is wrong with my version. How come it's soo bad with the Home edition? BTW, VDJ is the only process running, i've tweaked my laptop through the roof.
