I've tried the Napster login, and it keeps handing back "Incorrect Login/Password". The same username and password work fine when entered directly on firing up Napster.
Is there something VDJ isn't handling correctly, like special characters in the password field?

same problem here. i was wondering if this only works for US napster customers, as i am using Napster in the UK? how about the rest of you?

No, I live in Nottingham, England, I have a Napster account and the option in VDJ doesn't work for me. To repeat what discobrian has said the dev team are aware of the issue and hopefully it will work in the next revision/update.
I have just unticked it and I've chose to hide it until it's sorted. Hopefully it won't be to long.
