i had a thread about how easy or tough people treat there gig rig .......this is about gig rigs also , but how minimalist is your rig ........have you dispensed with all the barfware it had on it at the store , how low have you pared down the services , etc ......
to kick things off , my rig i do allow on the internet , and my processes are 35 at the moment ,(XP media center edition ) so i am not totally minimal ..... i use a rocket dock , 2 desktop clocks , firefox with a skin and subskin , and just a few niceties .....if they were a problem i would lose them in a heartbeat .... i regularly use VDJ 5.0 rev 2 , on automix (fade) i usually have soniques or slideshows running in the cube ( thanx cel) , plus text 2d (thanx cel) plus titler (thanx cel) i usually use the default video skin , but i switch over to vmix 5.2 ( thanx format and mykel) i also use kjaerhus audio's classic eq ( thanx norway and torben)
