is it possible to use tcv with me laptop without a sound card like a maya 44. this is going to be a test. i just got my timecoded vinyl. still haven't bought my maya 44, but i have a gigaport only outputs no inputs. so can i get input though my input on my regular sound card that is built in my hp laptop?

sorry that wont work well , as a tcv pair needs two stero asio inputs
and a laptops buit in card cant natively do asio which makes it impossible.
in some cases it can be hacked using asio for all but this can have a detriment to your mix

I had a maya 44 usb and didnt like it cause it makes alot weird noises. I sold it and now i bought a M-Audio Connectiv Audio interface. The interface has L-R output A & L-R output B / L-R input A & L-R Input B It has a ground for your turntables and a slot so you can buy a power supply so you dont have to rely on usb power. It works really good but it cost alittle more than a maya 44usb

you can use it with ASIO4ALL and just about nay soundcard but your best best is just wait until you get the maya44, unless that is no time soon.
