话题: can't get it to stop

When i browse through my folders in vdj, I usually hit the artist tab so they'll be in order by abc. If I leave that folder & then come back to it later.......I have to hit the tab again. Is there a way to make vdj remember & leave it the way I had it? Its just an extra step that doesn't need to be taken.

You can use registry tweak but make a backup before this:

re order column headers (change sort order)
1) open regedit
2) go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VirtualDJ
3) edit the AutoSort key
0 is the default. Another value will change the column used to sort.
note:
Value 1 = Sort by Title
Value 2 = Sort by Author
Value 3 = Sort by BPM

hell yeah. it would be a nice addition though to make vdj remember.

problem.....I don't see a autosort key to edit. do I make a new one or what??

It's actually in HKEY CURRENT USER -- Software -- VDJ

Yes, it is in the Current user, this was for version 3, my bad :)
There is Autosort key, just checked.

does it matter if its hex or decimal. I tried both.& restarted but no haps. is it only this key that has to be edited?
