I ran the setup and configured the VDJ, but when I play a track the Vdj freezes, what am I doing wrong, I would love to have this BCD2000 work with VDJ 4.3. Can you Pros help a newbie? thanks.

Hey mate .. this is just my opinion .. but the BCD is a lot of work to get set up right .. and there is not much help out there for it... if you followed the guides that’s about it… (that’s why it has such a bad reputation)
I personally got mine to work .. after about 10 hours of messing with it .. and I’m tech savvy…. So someone who is not tech savvy kind of has no chance (but people do get lucky)
If your patient and tech savvy .. keep at it and you will find a way to make it work .. if your neither of them . .send it back and get the Hercules.
I don’t like the Hercules (and I own both) .. it’s just too small for me .. but it’s a ton more user friendly .... I really really like the layout of the BCD .. so I made it work.
One tip to get it working ... the usb channel your plugging it into ... plug nothing ... not even a mouse into that channel ...

I had the Hercules, but like you said too small, I want that Mixer feel, I sold My Pioneer CDj's and my Tascam X9 to start on this setup and now I'm thinking old school is where I should've stayed. But If you got it to work, it means it does work. THANKS Mate.... :)

I have the BCD and I use it only as a midi controller. I still use my PC sound card not the BCD's. It works pretty well. If you try not running sound it might work OK for you also here is a mapper fot the BCD that I use , it works OK.
