i have custome logs for the companys i work for and would like to put then in thwe lower corner of the screen but i can't load a gif in showlogo. why doesn't showlogo support a gif and slideshow does. The objective is to show the logo without seing any white beyond it. is there a fix or some kind of patch. Thank for your great support, Mike

The two plugins don't use the same code and for the moment it's not planned to add .gif in show logo.

If you save your logo to a jpg or bmp file with either a white of black background, you can then load that into the show logo plugin and use the "mask" slider to set the background colour to transparent.

What I personally do is save the files in PNG without backround and dont use a mask , because the edges are not perfect.

So option mask simulates a transparent background but the plugin can directly use alpha layer. Try a .tga file for example.
