On my first test with 4.3 on my backup system I found that the first video plays fine, load and play the second track, and the audio is fine, but the video plays for a bit then freezes, then continues playing for 20 seconds or so this continues to repeat. if I load another track in deck one, then deck two starts to play properly, and the fault moves to player one! It seems to follow the last loaded track. I dare not install it on my show system at this point, and the fault never appeared on 4.2.
Backup ststem is a Pentium 4 3.3GHZ 1GB Ram and 4300LE 256MB Nvidia video.
Anyone else seen this?

Have you installed the update or the full install?

I did install the full install over an existing install of 4.2 as I wanted to keep the download for future use by it's self.

Ok, On testing with 4.2 same issue appeared, but with both video outputs freezing randomly after the second deck was loaded. So the issue is not with 4.3 its with my backup system. Intrestingly if auto-trans is left on, even when the videos are frozen, the transition keeps going, IE satelite does keep spinning, but with frozen video in both windows.
Remember the video freezes, then resumes at the correct point all the way through the track, at intervals of about 30 seconds or so.
As this seems to be limited to "My" hardware, I'll give the specs and hop that someone can help out.
945 Pentium D 3.4GHZ CPU (2x 2mb)
1 GB ram
Intel 965 MSI mainboard
120GB HDD (Unsure of make or mod at present)
Geforce 7300LE 256MB Video, with turbo cache on, 512MB avaliable.
Could turbo cache be the problem, can it be disabled. Have tried older MSI video drivers of 91xx, and the current Nvidea drivers of 93xx, this had no effect.
Would love a solution to this one.
Thanks

halo - try here for some insight - http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
but I think you are on the right track with the video performance
I have read that the turbo cache only gets allocated the memory when needed - but it would be nice to tell the video chip to only use the native 256Mb of memory and nothing more.

Ahh, yes, I use them for my laptop video drivers, but afraid my backup system is actually a desktop system, mainly used for testing songs and plugins. Unfortuatly its hard to test video plugins if there is already a problem with the video on that system.
