It's there anything else i need to do with this situation. any other software download?

Can you try your console on some other PC with Vista? Just to make shure it is not problem with your laptop. Specs are good, shouldn't be any problem. Also, try to add power adapter to your console and see what happens.

did just tried on another vista desktop and laptop. same problems. tested on xp, perfect there. going to try the power adapter, but i dont think thats the problem, i'm not the only person going thru this problem, Hercules says is virtual dj, that their update for the console is not working 100%. My friend has virtual dj 4, same problems on vista as mines. Please help. Thank You.

Oh by the way, can someone tell me what will be the best power supply for the console?

You have described that in the manual of the console, mine isn't here, but I think it is 7-9 volts 800mA.
 
would using an ac adapter fix anything?
there got to be more than that.

I didn't had the time to try MK2 with Vista, is Simon helped you? Sorry to hear you are still having problems.
 
Im going crazy, have a gig this saturday and dont know what to do. called hercules, did all the testing on 3 different vista comp. 1 desktop and 2 laptops, same problem, tried on xp, perfect. It is virtual dj and vista.
 
You mean VDJ Console version, the Pro should work fine. Hm. I will try to install tomorrow Vista and will download Console version and try it out. Can you use XP in any way in saturday? It will give us more time to resolve this one?

out of all those computers... you can't switch one of them to XP for you gigs until Vista is working for you?

Suppose the computer goes down for whatever reason, do you have a backup plan... if so, use the back up.
