I need help setting up my turntables and BCD2000 .Can you just play vinyl without having to use timecoded vinyl? Do you also need a special soundcard for a laptop. I have a 1.7 Ghz, 1000 ram 80 GB harddrive and also i have a creative sound blaster,but not sure if its compatable.I was reading some of the posts and there saying you need asio compatable sound card? Iv also download the asio4all program but i have no idea what to do to get the turntables to work.My Bcd2000 works fine with virtual dj.I just think its somthink to do with a sound card or somthink i really dont no!!

Yea iv checked that set up before and just wondering if you have to HAVE a soundcard to run turntables?, even without timecoded? Because im still having problems trying to play turntables. I havent got the timecoded vinyls yet, but by using Bcd2000 do you still need a soundcard?
Also i heard you can beat match on timecoded vinyl, that true?
Im kinda new to all this. Im a old skool vinyl dj lol..
