hey guys , me and my friend are looking into broadcasting on the net from virtual dj , my friend has virtual dj v4 installed on his machine and wen we try 2 broadcast it says it is broadcasting and givs up the url for it but wen we hand the url out to our other friends it wont let them connect:S we are new 2 this so wer not 2 sure but we have both been djin 4 about 2yrs now and i am a fairly advanced pc user but do not have a clue about broadcasting lol i would b very gr8ful 4 any help , thnx guys n girls

so u got demo of 4 yes
step one
aquire a server ,
or u can operate it from your pc
to broadcast from your pc please select , broadcast from my pc in the broadcast settings u can find them on the recording tab
pick a number of clients you wish to alow to listen
on average each user will take 140 k of your ram
then please select the protocal you wish to broadcast on , shoutcast , this is the most common streams mp3 i recomend that
press ok
then press start recording
if u need advice on getting a server and setting that up add
admin@skyfxlmedia.com
to msn
