Hi,
what about making a 'Goto + (or -) x beats' function ? (something that could be shownd like the cues, with the label 'Goto1 + 4 beats' and the destination labelled 'Dest1'). This 'Goto' should be saved, associated with the music (exactly like the cues). There was a plugin (I think 'Cues + Event' by DjCel) that (I suppose) could be that but it does not work with the v4.0.
In this way, you could predefine loops ( + or -) what are perfectly in the beat, wherever you are in the music.
What do you think about this idea ?

You have Skip option which is similar to your request, you can make a shortcut for it.

Well, the aim is to SAVE the loop in fact, and you could have several loops predefined for 1 track.

almost like looped samples? set the key turning the loop on and off to also pause and resume the track and there should be no gap,
