Topic: Anyone have simple instructions for BCD2000/headphones

I have read every forum I can find. Anyone have any simple instructions on getting the headphones to work in the BCD2000 like a normal mixer....like pre-listen the next song.

What is this....I see no BCD2000 info
 
you want to connect cd players or something else? I mean, don't you wanna use it as a midi controller for vdj? please be more explicit in the way you want to work with. I use it with tcvs in asio mode and the midi controller with headphones as well .
 
If you want to prelisten from the BCD2000, this means that you have to use it as sound card and particularly as ASIO sound card. You will face a few problems which VDJ Team is working on right now. So far, this blog http://www.virtualdj.com/blog/moramax will help you but remember it is still very unstable, so if you get it working i would suggest you to mark this as a system restore point.

I don't think bcd is very unstable, I've been mixing videos about 8 hours in asio mode and I hadn't have any problem, perhaps there are still some problems of compatibility with certain motherboards but dev team is working on fixing this bug.

As long as you don't touch some things, yes it's stable. But i have a few DON'T TOUCH things on my mind when i say unstable. And actually when i say unstable, i mean the BCD not the VDJ, which is truelly amazing.

what skin are you using?
please select this standard skin:
VirtualDJ: Internal mixer

you can see in the center of the screen near level v-umeter 2 little command buttons called pfl (one blue and the other red).
to switch the prelisten you have to push that buttons:
push button left(blue): to prelisten on left deck
push button right(red): to prelisten on right deck

if you want you can also assign a midi shortcuts to make this from bcd.

sorry I did not see this trhead before, but I am happy that some user that now how to fix the problem are helping to somebody else to do it, that is making this comunity very helpfull.
