I have uploaded all my sources code for VDJ v4.x video plugins (except VideoRotation and PictureRotation which will come later)

+ source code of djcmapper v4.0 uploaded too


And i have already 3 new video plugins in beta-tests ;-)
 
Tell you one thing Cel, you are doing some damn nice work at the minute! I like all these new effects you've been doing, you should be proud mate.

I suppose you have a new sdk for doing these plugins, haven't you?
do you know when it will be available to everyone?

Yes i use the new SDK for VirtualDJ v4.x
You can find the files by downloading the source code of spiral for example as you are experienced
The whole SDK package will be available soon on the website

I will upload audio source code too (to include the other file .h for audio)

Otherwise for Direct3D, i use:

#pragma comment(lib, "d3dx9.lib")
#define DIRECT3D_VERSION 0x9000
#include <d3dx9.h>

instead of :

#define DIRECT3D_VERSION 0x9000
#include <d3d9.h>
 
"ShowLogo" plugin available with source code too ;-)

( This plugin corrects the problem when resizing the window too so i will update PictureRotation soon)

I will try to upload my "Screenshot" plugin tomorrow

And i'm working on Text in 3D: i already have a first beta but still a lot of things to improve

And i have a plugin to show "DirectX X-Files too" but a lot of things to improve too
 
Screen shot, does that mean we can show the club screens our DJ screen? That would be awesome!

Not sure if it's just me, but last night Show your logo plugin kept comming up with "Unable to load image". I was flicking between Sonique and Logo show, and after a couple of cycles it would not load any images. After restarting VDJ, the image would load right away without even needing to reset the image in the plugin settings. Then after a few cycles it would be unable to load again.
 
"Unable to load image" means the picture is not compatible with my plugin

I have transferred this message in the plugin to avoid the MessageBox: it will be easier now

I will have a look on this problem of "release" but in a normal way it's well managed so ...
 
thats my point, the images have all been used with the plugin, fine. Afer using another plugin (Sonique for me) then going back to show logo, the plugin will not load any image, and says unable to load image to everything, untill I restart VDJ, then it will load all images fine again.
 
hum maybe a conflict with the plugin Sonique: i will investigate
 
I Ran the system under test yesterday arvo, switching between sonique and Logo show and video, no problems that time.

I suspect it may have something to do with the first run bug that also affects the sampler. (On first loading all the samples you can press play on the sampler, but no sound is heard, on shutdown and restart of VDJ, all samples play fine).

Will be using logoshow again tomorrow at work, will post any results.
