Topic: the CONSTRUCTIVE thread about BCD2000........ [VDJ 4.1 RELEASED AND WORKS] - Page: 12

由于该帖子的部分内容已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

agree;)

That was made after the initial discovery from many users that it DID work. So was optimistic about this working for all... ;)

So since a few still have problem, topic changed to [TEMPORARY SOLUTION FOUND]

Thanks Norway, but to my opinion it was never solved: some BCD users have taken the limited functions in combination with VDJ who are available for granted.
So actually it is not still a problem for only some users but for all of us who were promised to have VDJ fully controlled by the BCD.

The video of the working BCD is nice but here is the BCD doing the same thing as my U46DJ only being a gateway for the TCV’s.
Things like hearing the tone control through the headphone on PFL or PFL mix with main or MIC use and other functions who are available on the BCD in button form and in VDJ are not available.

BUT AGAIN... seems not to be comming through to all....

- Dev team is currently working on why there are problems for some with the BCD2000, and hopefully will come up with a good solution very soon

PLEASE READ THAT! ;)

A Man and His Music and dj-in-norway, it is no use we need BIGGER letters :)

WE ARE WORKING ON IT

I don't know what you mean by limited functions, if most bcd functions are available and work fine, just miss a few buttoms, send me a pm if you want and I'll send you an xml file I modified.

@DJ Cyder
That's the size, thanks ;)

I've made a video just to show some people that VDJ4 and BCD 2000 work very well together, in this video BCD is working in asio mode and ALL THE FUNTIONS ARE WORKING, I don't need leds or mic; is just fine for me. also many users are asking for skip_beat 1/2 or 1/8,///what for??? you can do that using some short cuts combinations.

It's true it's working the damn thing !!!

I reinstalled windows, drivers VirtualDJ Ver 4. and BCD latest drivers. Nothing else. The ASIO drivers are working properly (so far). What could be wrong? I will install SP2 and step by step i will try to foind out.

I'm looking forward to Ver 4.1

PS One thing about BCD2000. One of the most usefull features of the console is the mix/split button. If i enable the button you can hear in headphones the main output (in xylio software). It's usefull when you want to practice "quitely" . Until you fix this (if you ever will) this is what i do. From the sound control panel, i switch the outputs of Chan 1-2 & 3-4. Could we create a shortcut for this? I hope this helped.

you just have to create a headphone _crossfader shortcut in BCD and that set, yo can heard the mixes in your headphones

@fremdj
sorry, but for me the Mic is very important. So NOT ALL Functions are working. Gratz to you, you seem to be a lucky one ;)
@DJ_Cyder
and here again, the man who says Hundtreds an thousands of Users enjoy the VDJ Support for the BCD. maybe your way of counting is a little different from mine but i've seen something around 15 here in this forum.(btw, i wish you nice dreams for the next night again.)

And now your little post with the big red letters.
Sorry this ist too much:

YOU REALLY SHOULD THINK ABOUT YOUR WAY YOU TREAT YOU CUSTOMERS.

p.s:
sorry for my english

If i said the mic is not importan, i mean NOT in the BCD "now" of course if you work profesionaly you need the mic but there is many devices to can use for that, amplifires mixers..........

@tanzi

You want to play numbers there here you go facts

less then 10% of our registered users actually post in the forum

So for everyone that posts in the fourm there are 50 or more that do not

Its true in reguards to dj's in general vs the ones online the numbers are small, so when someone posts a complaint or anything they apper "loud" but in reality is only a few. Not that we don't value everyones opinion just putting it in perspective for you.

Also the fact we have said in this thread many many times we are working on it, no one seems to read that. Also its been stated that the mic will not work with tcv becuase of the design of the product not VDJ. Also try and remember VDJ did not design this product or is making any profits by supporting it. We are trying to support it to help you! So please relax and let the dev team do their thing.

Fremdj nice video, but are you using your keyboard or the BCD to control VDJ ? :-)

@ DJ Cyder you are right we should relax but can we have a peak into what is going to be modified/solved. I guess we have the rights no?

you can work with keyboard or bcd midi functions, is up to you they both work fine.

Only VIP's and above can have a peek ;)

Well I'll give you a bit of insight as to what is going on. We have a couple of new bcd owners beta testing the new solutions and offering suggestions. These are end users just like you The dev team is hard at work currently on 4.1 which is in beta right now. We have heard your suggestions and we are doing our best to make vdj "work" for everyone not only reguarding the bcd but the program in general. So rest easy knowing your suggestions are heard noted and being worked on. By no means is 4.0 the "last" Virtual DJ version it will continue to grow and get better.

pelgrins, you can assign the functions as you want, as you have seen in the video the most important functions are in the BCD that's why it is called an external controller, but VDJ allows us to assign a WIDE quantity of functions that's why you must use the keyboard for those, also there are amaizing things that you can do with combinations of short cuts but you have to try with them .

Now _THIS_ is what I call support:

After I sent my system information report to Behringer they found something suspicious in the logfile..

here's what they responded with:

Hello Paul,

due to the installation error messages we noticed from looking at your NFO file, we'd like to offer you to replace your BCD2000 with a new one. Installation errors usually point to a hardware error.

Please reply with the following information:

- complete address details where to pick-up the (most likely) defective device
- complete address details where to send the replacement
- serial number

I'll generate a returns number plus an UPS Label (which allows you to arrange a free collection by yourself) immediately after receiving the requested information.

Kind regards

In future if anyone doubts the commitment and support from Behringer show them this!

I'll keep you posted when the new unit arrives!

@fremdj
it's not the same to hear both decks and to hear the "result" the outout. What i mean is that i need to hear in headphones the output (when i move the crossfade to change the result and the equalizers changes). I f you had a BCD you could understand me. There is not such thing in VDJ.
