MUSIKGUATE
Guys......I need some advise, today I'm hired to play on the Guatemalan 1st Lady 40th B-day ( arround 1,200 people ), I'm kindda nervous because you can imagine the kind of people that will be there. What I need is some advise in what kind of music should I start playing, I know her family and they like to party a lot and they told me they love 80's ...what can I do to have the whole Guatemalan Goverment dancing and partying like animals....jajajajaja....

Try them as all people, finally they are humans too isn´t it?
Carry with you some local songs also, some that identify your country as yours. For example in Mexico I carry with Rancheras, Mariachi and stuff like that. Carry music that is played in the place that was born the 1st lady or his family :-) they will love too.
