Hi all,
Before i begin may i suggest this thread be locked for Pro users only just incase it gets a healthy response .... well hopefully it does and everyone contributes a little piece of knowledge picked up along the way....
I have been having a few problems with my sound card which Dj W/Dvl managed to help me with...thank you once again brother !
any way got me thinking that there must be tips, tweaks hints etc that we have all picked up along the way such as memory monitors, accelerators, programs, applications etc etc that would improve, assist and make ur system/OS more stable...
would anyone like to share what they have uncovered incl what it does for you, Vdj, your OS and any links to the sites where they downloaded them.
would make for interesting trials and test to see if they might assist the rest of us ! who knows u may even find the solution to what ever has been niggling you!
hope to get the response to this threat like i expect i will !

If using VDJ professionally it is sensible to close all applications (including anti-virus, firewall and also network connections) except those vital to Windows. Infact, you can even terminate explorer.exe which frees up a valuable amount of memory. You should also set a static paging file onto a harddrive on a different IDE channel to your Operating System or at least on a different physical drive. It's advisable to keep your OS drive defragged (assuming VDJ is also on this drive).
