I see many posts about "a column for kbps" or "year" or whatever. To me the simplest would be able to select whichever columns one wants to display from the id3 tags and sort etc on these. Trying to add the info to the comments is a nughtmare as one day one may want to search on year, another time quality etc. It would give MAXIMUM flexibility for everyone
I am trying to use this in a dance school environment and therefore want to select on type of dance/ BarsPerMinute etc. I have used a seperate program to create all the info in the id3 tags. I just can't access them in VDJ.
Also the ability to select which fields the "search" will look at, so one might decide on title, artist, filename and comments for example.
