Many systems out there lately using timecoded vinyl/cd's
(final scratch, D-vinyl,pcdj scratch, mixvibes dvs, Rane serato),even with a typical soundcard. It seems to become a standard. I need to buy one - BUT i prefer Virtual dj.
Can we hope / ecpect Virtual Dj to follow, in the -near-
future ?
Also i think Vdj has the ''feel'' and ''look'' of vinyl already.
What other users think about ?

I was going to post the same question. The ability to hook up turntables to vdj without using the cam feature would be the ulitimate package. That kind of versatility would blow all others out the door and tap into a whole nother market for atomix i would think.
Even with various scratch controllers, i think there will always be a place for turntables. I don't know how true or skewed, but it's always floatin around (Scratch documentary, etc) that 'turntables sell more than guitars' in some parts.

I had the impression that many users will like my idea, ask this
feature from the team, but ...
Let me explain. I'm tired always to carry my own equipment,
(laptop, dj console, cables) while others non-digital dj's don't.
Are they more clever than me ?
Another problem is that there is no room sometimes for controllers in some small dj booths.(and i've seen many...)
What i really need is to use the existing equipment (cd players or turntables, if available...) as controller,
while a usb soundcard will be permanent connected to the mixer.
This way, carrying only my laptop and connect only a usb cable is the easiest way for me to work.
There are other solutions but as i said, i prefer Virtual dj.
Some of them are really expensive for what they offer,
(like final scratch) and i'm sure that, atomix production can do it for a fair price, if we ask for it...

I agree with Kyon.
I saw some pics from the forthcoming Serato soft :-( What a bad design of the user interface. Virtual DJ with the ability to hook your sl1200s, DenonS5000s or Pioneer CDJs on VDJ would be perfect.

Imagine the little Virtual dj record spin as you spin
a real record with a Technics 1200 ..!
P.S. I also agree for the serato bad sesign (i saw those photos too)
but, let me say, a simple design (without bells and whistles...) is sometimes preferred for professional use.
