Topic: Song is added to history without play. - Page: 1

Maybe this is not bug, but only bad feature for me.

When i drag a song in deck and wait 40 sec, he is alwayas red marked an added in history, even without any play. When i then change song in deck, first song is still red marked as
played. I have in history many songs, that are in fact did not play.


My idea: Add in history and red marked song only after X seconds CONTINUOUSLY playing, without stop or pause. (X is number in seconds - adjustable in register, default is 40 or 60 sec)

I agree; this can be very annoying. I had been looking for a place to tune this, but hadn't found it. Perhaps a registry tweak?
 
This is an old story...
I have asked for this too,
a -user configurable- "played time" in options, but a registry key will be good too.
The way it is now, the "wrong" played tracks are used:
in the history.txt,
the auto-playlists
marked as played in browser.
 
 
New version 3.2 is out and this bug is still inside. Why? Loaded song is not played song! :-(

my vote too. It's annoing to always click "unmark status" on the song
 
This is the way we counted "loaded" (ok ok i have changed play by load term!) songs into history file for many years now (Think that this is the way we proceed in AtomixMp3 1.0...)

I forward your needs to dev team.
 
In the VDJ 3.3 and 3.4 still without any change. Maybe in 4.0 (?) ...:-)
 
 
I agree 100%, please make this a "user" defined timer.
history should be a "played" song, not loaded....

Yep, add my vote to the list as well. I'd also like it not to be removed from the playlist if it hasn't been played.
 
If you click on the "repeat playlist" the songs will not be removed.

You're missing the point. It's ok to remove it when it's been played. But I'd like it NOT to be removed if it HASN'T been played.
 
I confirm and repeat that is importan make this improvement:

-a song must be marked as played if it' realy played after 30-40 sec.It's not correct that the software mark a played song if it's only loaded on the deck!!!

this feature/bug needs correction or improvement (but i feel its blown out of proportion for 2 pages)
