i was looking through the effects and didn't see one, actually i was listening to DJ manix last night and he was using an effect but not sure if it was a plug-in or something with the hardware. Basicly what i'm looking for is auto rapid on and offs with the fader to the beat, stuttering but not on the same word but as the song moves. What i heard last night was similar but towards the end of the effect it got quicker or busy, like a short audio drumroll at the end. Any ideas?

I think there's a "cutoff" plugin that sounds similar to what you're talking about. I don't remember if that's what it was called, but it cuts out the music a certain number of times per beat.
