I use 1024 on my laptop
I use 1280 on my Home comp

1280 x "768" (14" Widescreen... thus 768 on the height)
 
Most of us use 17" monitors with max. 1280x1024, but when you turn 1280x1024 in most cases it works in 60hz, which blows your head off, so best solution for my 15" belinea is 1152x864 @ 75hz max. 1024x768 is small, but it works in 85hz.
Well, if you have monitor which works in 1280x1024 @ 75hz or 85hz then there is no problem, but for me, I would like to see option in VDJ default skin in resolutions:

800x600
1024x768
1152x864
1280x1024
1600x1200

and other wide-screen resolutions, BUT NOT in way they made 800x600 skin. That skin is just streched & it SUCKS, you can't see numbers and letters properly. Or you can do trick like in traktor 2.61. It feets all, but when I say all i mean ALL resolutions with only one button :)

I know this is not easy job to do, but look this way: you have made one of greatest DJ softwares on Earth, and you can not make skins with other resolutions :) hehehe... I wouldn't say so :)

gotta love those Dell Inspiron 9200, I can run the mixstation skin side-by-side with Acid and/or FruityLoops :)

elof> which skin do you use? for me, the mixstation is fine, even in full screen (although then the wheels are more oval than round)
