first practice, then practice some more... then when you think you are starting to get it right... practice A LOT more....

There's tons of good info in this forum. Take some time and read through what others have said. Your question has been asked and answered many times. With that said...
Some highlights might include:
+ Cut the bass (on one track) completely
- Cut effect could be used here, too.
+ Keep song at mixed BPM until bass stops or chorus
+ Loop a section to mix in another track
Check out http://www.recess.co.uk/beginning.html for some good basic info, too.
Oh yeah, and lots of practice! : )
