In the demo you can only use the program mixer.
In the full version you can also use an external mixer.

Use an external mixer : it is so easier. The only problem is that all the fonctions are not enabled in this mode, such as samples... But it should be improved soon.

You need two soundcards (or a 3D soundcard) and the full version to use an external mixer. Other than that, the only drawbacks are the internal EQs are disabled and the sampler does not work. Minor issues, especially since most mixer's have EQs anyhow.
Just make sure both your soundboards are using the same driver, so you will have no latency issues (IE two similiar soundcards) [this is not an issue with 3D soundboards]
